Randolph Secondary Schools Principal

Rachel Trevino, Randolph Secondary Schools Principal, is in her twenty-third year as an educator, eleven of which have been at Randolph. She has served in a variety of roles during her career, including teacher, reading and math interventionist, RTI facilitator, teaching and learning coach, academic specialist, testing coordinator, special programs coordinator, and, most recently, associate principal. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, all of which were earned at The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Mrs. Trevino believes that educators have the power to motivate students while helping them discover their strengths and overcome challenges, which she strives to do on a daily basis.

Professionally, she is most proud of being able to team up and collaborate with teachers to make a difference in the lives of students, and she feels that the best part of her job is getting to witness the progress that results when a teacher goes above and beyond to intervene on behalf of students.

For the past twenty-three years, Mrs. Trevino has held on to the belief that all students are destined for greatness, and she is determined to help students, teachers, and parents believe that, too.

According to Mrs. Trevino, the best part about working at Randolph is getting to meet the needs of military-connected students and their families. As a retired military spouse herself, Mrs. Trevino understands the military lifestyle and is especially focused on ensuring our students have a positive experience at Randolph, regardless of how long or short of a time they spend here.

In her spare time, Mrs. Trevino enjoys frequent family gatherings with lots of love and laughter, reading, and staying active with walking, jogging, yoga, and gym workouts.
