Summer Workout 2023 Information

SUMMER STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Summer workouts are open to any current or incoming RFISD student entering 7th – 12th grade. (BOYS & GIRLS)

 

WHY ARE SUMMER WORKOUTS IMPORTANT?

Our summer strength and conditioning program is very important to the success of our athletes and team’s next season. We as a coaching staff are committed to providing a purposeful and well-organized summer workout program as well as a structured positive environment for your sons and daughters. It is very important that your student-athlete is participating in this program so they can handle the HEAT for practices in August.

 

Summer workout dates are:

Mon. Jun. 5 - Thur. Jun. 8

Mon. Jun. 12 - Thur. Jun. 15

Tues. Jun. 20 - Thur. Jun. 22

Mon. Jun. 26 - Thur. Jun 29

WEEK OFF
Mon. Jul. 10 - Thur. Jul. 13

Mon. Jul. 17 - Thur. Jul. 20

Mon. Jul. 24 - Thur. Jul. 27 (strength & conditioning only, no sport specific workouts)

 

MS Boys & Girls workout times 7:45AM – 9:00AM

HS Boys workout times 8:15am – 9:45am
HS Girls workout times 9:15am – 10:30am
OPEN GYM (Mondays) 11:00am – 1:00pm

 

SPORT SPECIFIC DAYS & TIMES

HS Football: Tuesdays & Thursdays (10am-11am) MS Football: Wednesdays (10am-11am)

HS Volleyball: Mondays (8:00am-9:00am)
MS Volleyball: Mondays (9:00am-10:00am)

MS & HS Girls Basketball: Tuesdays & Thursdays (8:00am-9:00am) Softball: Wednesdays (8:00am-9:00am)
Baseball: Mondays (10:00am-11:00am)

HS Football – 1st day of practice is July 31, 2023
