SUMMER STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Summer workouts are open to any current or incoming RFISD student entering 7th – 12th grade.

WHY ARE SUMMER WORKOUTS IMPORTANT?

Our summer strength and conditioning program is very important to the success of our athletes and team’s next season. We as a coaching staff are committed to providing a purposeful and well-organized summer workout program as well as a structured positive environment for your sons and daughters.  It is very important that your student-athlete is participating in this program so they can handle the HEAT for practices in August.

 

Summer workout dates are:

Mon.   Jun. 3 - Thur. Jun. 6

Mon.   Jun. 10 - Thur. Jun. 14

Mon. Jun. 17 - Thur. Jun. 20

Mon.   Jun. 24 - Thur. Jun 27

    WEEK OFF

Mon.   Jul. 8 - Thur. Jul. 11

Mon.   Jul. 15 - Thur. Jul. 18

Mon.   Jul. 22 - Thur. Jul. 25

Mon.   Jul. 29 - Thur. Aug. 1

 

MS Boys & Girls (7th & 8th grade) workout times                  7:30am – 9:00am

HS Boys & Girls (9th – 12th grade) workout times                 8:15am – 9:45am

OPEN GYM (Mondays & Wednesdays)                                    11:00am – 1:00pm

 

SPORT SPECIFIC DAYS & TIMES

HS Football: Tuesdays & Thursdays (10am-11am)

MS Football: Wednesdays (10am-11am)

HS Volleyball: Mondays (10:00am-11:00am)

MS Volleyball: Mondays (9:00am-10:00am)

MS & HS Girls Basketball: Tuesdays & Thursdays (10:00am-11:00am)

HS Boys Basketball: Mondays & Wednesdays (10:00am-11:00am)

MS Boys Basketball: Wednesday (9:00am-10:00am)

Softball: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (10:00am-11:00am)

Baseball: Mondays (10:00am-11:00am)

HS Football – 1st day of practice is August 5, 2024 (Mandatory)

HS Volleyball – 1st day of practice is August 5, 2024 (Mandatory)

HS Cross Country – 1st day of practice is August 5, 2024 (Mandatory)
