Students can redo all Assessments by the deadline date (10 days after they receive it).  In order to redo a  Assessment the student must complete an INTERVENTION assignment with at least an 80% and ALL assignments with a score of at least 80%.  Change in grade:  the redo will be for full credit.

When a student is absent, he/she is responsible for the work missed.  A student that has been absent is responsible for picking up their work the day they come back to school.  A student has 1 day for every day they were absent to get the work turned in. Students will need to ask someone in their group or the teacher for any notes or explanation that was missed.  If a student was absent due to an extra-curricular event then their assignment is due before they leave.  If it is turned in after, it is considered late.  If a student has not made arrangements with me when the assignment is late they will be assigned a  detention to finish their work. If students misses an assessment they will need to make it up outside of class time (after school).
Tardy and Discipline Policy
             1st Tardy - Warning
              2nd Tardy - Teacher Conference
              3rd Tardy - Parent Contact/ Teacher Conference
              4th Tardy - Lunch Detention
5th or more - Further disciplinary action ( as assigned by administrator)
Students are considered tardy if they are not in their seat by the time the bell rings. One detention results in a U or unsatisfactory in conduct for the nine week grading period.
Parent Conference
I am always willing to talk to a parent/guardian concerning a student's performance in my class.  Parents, please e-mail me     [email protected] or call 210-357-2458 with any concerns or to schedule a conference.  I will try to contact you as soon as possible.
