Theatre Arts Expectations

Theatre Arts Classes
The Theatre Arts Department at Randolph High School is dedicated
to providing students with the opportunity to gain experience in all facets of
the Dramatic Arts. Students learn acting, directing, as well as a number of
various technical skills. There is one after school dress rehearsal ands one performance night for each semester. See the Fine Arts Calendar in GoogleClassroom for specific dates and times.
Class Expectations
1. Participate. Participation includes rehearsing, being a good listener; never disrupting presentations.
2. Be respectful. Many people will be performing for the first time ever in this class. This is a very difficult skill and can cause a lot of anxiety. You will show grace to those who aren’t naturals or as experienced as you.
3. Be willing to try new things. This class may challenge you to do things you’ve never done before. Be willing to converse with non-friends. Be willing to lead a group.
4. Show up on time and prepared for class.
5. Food and drinks (except water) are prohibited, unless explicit permission is given.
6. Chromebook and phone usage should be only with permission and should be on-task. Misused devices will be confiscated, and you will serve detention.
