Who is this Sarlow you speak of?

Vance Sarlow was born and raised in The Lone Star State. He received a BFA in Theatre Arts at Southwest Texas State University (now TSU) and worked with the Artistic Repertory Theatre of Texas. He has been at Randolph since 1996 teaching Theatre Arts and Speech/Communications.

Each year, Mr. Sarlow directs a Fall Play and Randolph's entry in the U.I.L. One Act Play Contest as well as  UIL Prose and Poetry Interpretation. 

Over the years he has performed in the San Antonio Theatre Coalition's "Theatre ASAP" event, played Baptista in "Return of the Shrew" for the Overtime Theatre Company, spent a summer playing a cowboy at the Witte Museum's Gallery Theatre, and wrote music for "Pirates vs Ninjas: The Musical". He also performs with a local classic rock, pop, and blues band.
 
Other than directing, acting, and making music, Sarlow also enjoys a wide variety activities and hobbies including travel, playing strategy games, reading, over analyzing movies and tv shows, and riding his motorcycles.
